Wiltshire Escape Rooms FAQ

Fantastic real-life fun! A team of 2-6 people are locked in a room for 60 minutes and have to locate the key to the exit & escape within the time by finding clues and solving puzzles, that will lead you to the key.
We have two rooms to choose from. The EXIT VISA CRISIS, and VICTORIA'S LAST CHALLENGE.
Anyone who fancies some fun packed adventure! Escape rooms are fantastic for birthdays, groups of friends, stag and hen parties and team building days. We ask that under 18’s are accompanied by a playing adult. Minimum age 16 years.
Unfortunately, no children under 16 years of age are allowed to play/attend.
Team sizes can be between 2 & 6 players. A maximum of 6 is the biggest team size each room will support.
If you wish to play with more players, you can book both rooms to play at the same time. (ie To play 8 players you would need to book both rooms for the same time slot, with 4 players in each room)
A maximum of 6 is the biggest team size each room will support, however, If you wish to play with more players, you can book both rooms to play at the same time. (ie To play 8 players you would need to book both rooms for the same time slot, with 4 players in each room) Therefore we can support up to 12 players at one time - 6 in each room.
We ask that you take care not to damage anything. Nothing in the room needs to be forced, ripped or broken.
No photography is allowed in the room (we’d like to keep the puzzles a surprise for all our future players!).
No, alcohol is strictly forbidden at the venue, and we will refuse entry to anybody we believe is under the influence.
Yes, at some points during the game you will see the phrase 'Hint Available' appear on the countdown timer screen, if your team gets stuck, just claim the offered hint and we will try to help you along!
No, you won’t need to – all you need to escape will be in the room with you. You do not need any ‘outside' or prior knowledge to solve the puzzles in either of our rooms, all the answers are in the rooms with you. You just need good teamwork and a keen eye!
No, as we've said above in the rules, we'd like to keep the rooms and their puzzles a surprise, but we do take a photo of every team that plays 11th Hour Escape Rooms, as a keepsake.
Our address is – 91 Devizes Road, Bromham, Wiltshire. (We have dedicated rooms above the Audi Cars Sales Showroom – Our private entrance is to the rear of the main building) We are very lucky to have premises in a rural area surrounded by fields in the beautiful North Wiltshire countryside.

Yes indeed, the 33 (or X33) can be caught in Chippenham (from either the Train Station or the Bus Station) or Devizes and it stops practically right outside our premises (1 min walk down the main road from the stop to our premises)
The stop is called : Chittoe Heath (on the main A342. )
Sadly, we have no wheelchair access, as we are located on the first floor up a single flight of stairs, but we can host you if you can climb the stairs. The Exit Visa Crisis room is the best room to play if you have mobility problems, or wish to not be standing throughout the game, as there is a sofa, and also a chair in this room.
We are open every day except Thursday 10am-9pm. (The last game begins at 8pm).
Please arrive 15 minutes before your game begins to allow time for a pre-game briefing.

We are happy to hold your game in credit & re-schedule your game if you are unable to come for some reason, however, please be aware that we can only offer a charge free re-scheduled slot if games are cancelled at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled game time. (or 7 days prior if both rooms are booked for a head to head game). This notice period is to enable us to try & get the cancelled slot(s) refilled. (Note: a handling fee of £20 per game/room will apply to re-scheduled games within 48 hours of booked game time.) If you cancel your game with less than 24hrs notice, no refund or re-schedule will be offered, as we will be unable to refill the lost game slot with such short notice.
We ask that all teams arrive at least 15 minutes prior to their game time to enable us to give them the team briefing.
The games start on the hour promptly as we cannot start games late due to the following bookings scheduled in the day.
If the team arrives up to 15 minutes past the hour when the game is scheduled to start, the time in the game (60 minutes) will be reduced accordingly.
If the team arrives later than 15 minutes past the hour when the game is scheduled we will have to cancel the game, and unfortunately no refund can be offered.
We obviously cannot be held responsible for travel delays so please ensure you give yourselves plenty of time to arrive. If you cancel your game with less than 24hrs before your booking slot, no refund or re-schedule can be offered. If you fail to arrive or cancel your game on the same day, no refund or re-schedule can be offered.
